Copper Meadows Eventing
Copper Meadows Eventing is a 65 acre 3-day Eventing facility located in Ramona, California, 45 minutes northeast of downtown San Diego. Since 2000, Copper Meadows has hosted two United States Eventing Association recognized Horse Trials a year, in June and September. Copper Meadows has a cross-country course from Beginner Novice level through Advanced level, with two water obstacles and multiple other exciting and challenging jumps over varied terrain.
Copper Meadows and owner Carolyn Hoffos were recently awarded the USEA Bronze Medal for hosting Events for 10 years! Congratulations!
The Arenas
Montecito Arena
300' x 150' arena that borders Montecito Way. This arena is used primarily for Stadium Jumping, both schooling and in the Horse Trials.
Eucalyptus Arena
220' x 150' arena that is surrounded by Eucalyptus trees and features a Eucalyptus in the arena. This arena is used primarily used for lessons, as it is fully fenced and lighted.
Roadside Arena
180' x 100' arena used primarily for Dressage and as a warm-up arena.
Copper Arena
Our newest arena, multi-level, featuring three ramps from the lower section of the arena to the top area of the arena. This arena is used for a variety of activities, including Dressage or Stadium jumping during our Horse Trials and schooling.
Cow Arena
100' x 120' arena used primarily for warm-up for the Montecito Arena.
El Lute Arena
Large warm-up arena in our parking lot area, that is used for lunging, schooling, and warm-up during our Horse Trials.
